The PRIMACEN platform brings together four services: peptide synthesis and functional screening, photonic bio-imaging, transmission electron microscopy, microdissection and Q-PCR. It thus offers a continuum, from the synthesis of biomarkers and the preparation of samples to the localisation and determination of the biological activity of molecules of interest.
PRIMACEN has equipment for the synthesis, purification and characterisation by mass spectrometry of peptides and peptide analogues. The platform also offers the necessary equipment for the preparation of cells (culture) and tissues (sections, slices, microdissection) of various origins (bacterial, plant, animal or human), fixed or alive, and intended in particular for imaging. A wide spectrum of multidimensional resolutions is accessible thanks to light microscopy, light macroscopy and transmission electron microscopy. PRIMACEN also offers the possibility of determining the biological activity of molecules of interest via medium-throughput screening methods (bioassays) and the quantification of relative gene expression thanks to transcriptomic analyses (Q-PCR).
PRIMACEN is also involved in the development of computerised applications in support of academic structures and in many fields: communication, management of publications, deliverables, real estate assets, inventories, congresses, etc.
